Welcome welcome welcome to Stitch Fix Review #8! Can’t believe we’re on our 8th review already. For those of you who are new around here Stitch Fix is a clothing service that for a nominal $20 styling fee (which gets applied towards anything you keep) sends you 5 items picked by a personal stylist.
They use your profile, Pinterest style board, and feedback to find items for you, so if you are a Stitch Fix’r be sure to pin any of the images below that you’d like to get at home. They do a great job of trying to find those items for you.
So now, on to the reveal, here is what I got this month. With the wedding just a couple weeks away I was especially conscious of budget this month, I really wanted to make sure that I only kept the items I absolutely loved and needed to have.
Henry Birds on Branch Infinity Scarf by Octavia
Initial Thoughts: I almost wish this was a shirt, the pattern is so cute and I love the fun color. I’m just not sure how often I would wear a scarf. I’ve got a whole drawer of them already.
Wearing It: Super comfy and cute.
Final Decision: Keeping it, with my credit from people signing up with my affiliate link (btw thank you and please help fund my addiction by signing up through my link) the price is really reasonable and I love the color. It’s a fun pop to my typically monochromatic closet.
Georgie Knit Tank by Papermoon
Initial Thoughts: This looks super cute but it’s a little plain, which is what I’m trying to change about my wardrobe. I’m sure it will be very comfortable, but it might be too free flowing rather than accentuating.
Wearing It: I was right about the comfort level. This is definitely something I can see myself lounging around in. But while it’s comfortable it’s definitely not super flattering.
Final Decision: Sending it back, super comfy but not really adding anything to my wardrobe. I’ve got a lot of yoga clothes for lounging.
Ivy Petal Print Blouse by Pixley
Initial Thoughts: Oh Pixley, how I love you….the print is adorable on this one. But I’m worried about how it will fit across chest. My continual problem.
Wearing It: Big surprise it’s way to tight across the chest. This makes me so sad, but not really shocked. Sigh, the struggles of a chesty girl.
Final Decision: Sadly sending it back due to fit issues!
Collen Straight Leg Jean by Liverpool
Initial Thoughts: Liverpool made my black pants from Stitch Fix #2 and I love those. I like the dark wash of the jeans and the brand is one I really like so I’m excited for these. I’m a little worried about the length, but otherwise excited to try them on.
Wearing It: They’re really cute, but a bit tight. And like I feared too long. The wash is very flattering and I like that a lot.
Final Decision: I like them, but don’t love them enough for the price.
Kelsie Dress by Market & Spruce
Initial Thoughts: I like the color on this dress, and the fabric is so soft and light. I wear a lot of skirts and dresses so this could be a fun casual addition to my closet. I really like the back details.
Wearing It: I really like the back details a lot but wasn’t as wild about the front, I think I would have liked it better reversed. It’s really soft and the color is really pretty. The length is ok.
Final Decision: Like it, don’t love it. And I’m working on making sure everything I keep brings me joy in some way. Going back.
So there you go, this months Stitch Fix reveal. Do you do Stitch Fix? If you haven’t tried it yet I would love it if you’d consider signing up through my affiliate link. It doesn’t change the price at all for you, but does help fund my addiction.
